Walpole Council on Aging Demo

August, 2014

Our pottery instructor Lizanne Donegan was out and about in Walpole last week sharing her knowledge of clay. She visited the Walpole Council on Aging on Wednesday, August 13. She demonstrated a variety of clay techniques and then worked with seniors to create turtles and animals from pinch pots.
Lizanne would like to thank her teen volunteers as well as Aicha Kelley, Program Director for the Walpole Recreation Department and Courtney Riley, Director of the Council on Aging for organizing this community experience.
Potters Place prides itself on fullfilling their Not-for-Profit Mission to spread their love of pottery with the community. Lizanne along with other Potters Place instructors are teaching a variety of classes for all ages this upcoming season.
